P Dot "Coney Island" x 3269 Chise: New Single w/ Old School Vibes

Keeping Hip Hop alive, Detroit's P Dot is notorious for her hard-hitting bars and sound. In collaboration with 3269 Chise, the talented duo presents "Coney Island".

P Dot [born Pamela Willis] is a femcee/indie artist hailing from Detroit, MI. She debuted locally with her breakout mixtape “Who Is It?”[2014], the lead single “Something 2Ride 2,” garnered her local praise and acclaim as one of the next to watchin Detroit. P Dot is the last of a dying breed, from the golden era of Detroit Hip-Hop/Rap alongside D12, EastSide Chedda Boyz, Rock BottomEntertainment, Slum Village, and Street Lord’z.

Having gotten her start with Live Action Entertainment at age 14; PDot became a neighborhood and school sensation amongst her peers, who witnessed her legendary freestyle sessions with other students in the lunchroom and school gym; under the then aforementioned monikers of “P.A.M.” and/or “The Punisher.”Her inspiration stems from the likes of MCLyte, Roxanne Shante, Queen Latifah, Lady of Rage, Mia X, and Remy Ma. Her biggest inspiration comes from the memory of her mother [Debra Willis], who passed in 2010. Her story is about grit & grind while surviving the streets of Detroit, MI. She believes her success is a by-product of her hustle& muscle to get it out the mud.

P Dot, also attended Specs Howard-- School of Broadcasting Art to help with her pursuit of a career in music and entertainment. From there, P Dot continued to release music via “PushingMy Pen,” [2016] and “Body & Barz”[2017], respectfully, with “Point of No Return,” “Wuddup Doe,” and “2 Sides,” being standouts from those projects. The success of the latter two, afforded her opportunities to open up for the likes of Mobb Deep, Iggy Azalea, Payroll Giovanni [DBCO], Da Brat, Lil Flip, Lil Scrappy &Trillville, and a host of others. Consequently, opportunities with BYLUG Entertainment, Grand Hustle Records, and Roc Nation soon followed. But, ultimately she decided to remain indie.

P Dot has not only made a name for herself in Detroit, but throughout the Midwest, and she is currently working on building a national buzz as well. Having been featured in/on several major platforms and media outlets ranging from ADIDAS 4AMDET – Shoe Release @ the Home Grown Footlocker DetroitStore, Detroit’s Annual – African American World Festival and Black Tattoo Arts& Music Expo, Detroitrap.com, Fly Zone Radio [Shade 45], The Michigan Chronicle, Nerve DJs.com, Selfish Magazine, SDM Live Magazine, UHHA Magazine, and WGPR Hot 107.5 FM (FridayNight Cypher Series, Imported From Detroit Showcase, and Summer Jamz) to name a few. P Dot is also a 10x award winner of local award shows& music showcases with the Detroit Music Awards and the Underground HipHop Awards being the most recognized in the city; for consistently being considered one of the Best FemaleHip-Hop Artists in the city of Detroit from 2015-2019, respectfully.

Not one to rest on her current and past laurels, P Dot constantly diversifies herself with her hands in acting, branding, cosmetology, hosting, and modeling. She has done notable fashion spreads with ADIDAS, AL Wissam, Creo by Keca, It’s All Raw, and Kill the Hate, etc. Her acting credits range from locallyreleased Birthday Behavior [Film] to the currently in progress Detroit CableConnection film, and several other notable locally released film projects.

P Dot is currently promoting her latest single “Confessions,” from an unreleased project entitled “Snap Dragpn”. She has recently partnered with ASIR Consulting/Varsity Music Group, and has released several projects and videos namely her project “Cody High: Class of 2020,” and "Detroit's Bad Girl," both available on her website https://www.dotgang.net and all other digital streaming platforms.

P Dot is truly a child of the city. Not one to mince words and/or take things likely. PDot is “REAL AS REAL CAN GET!!” And for her, she wants to bring the old school vibe back, but mix it in with the social media era of today. You can follow and visit her @PDOTMUSIC on all social media outlets and download and/or stream her music under P-Dot, P. Dot, or P Dot, respectfully on any and/or all major music outlets.

3269 Chise [born Ashaun Mason] is an emcee/indie artist, born & raised from the eastside of Detroit MI [8 Mile & Gratiot to be exact]. He got his first start in music at the age of 6 years old, performing as a member of his church choir along with other family and relatives.

Over the years, he honed his talent by performing during family gatherings, in school-based talent shows, open mics, and any opportunity that would afford him a chance to perform his music, and develop his talent as an emcee.

Another key influence in his life would come by way of his older brother who helped teach him how to write in song format and structure his verses and choruses. Consequently, all the years of development and hard work would culminate in his first mixtape entitled Something Special (circa 2015), in which he only gave out via physical copies across the Detroit area. “Pray for Me,” "Feel Good Music,” "Forever,” "The Woman You Are," and "Save Sinna" all were released as singles and videos shot by director, B. Hughes TV. As a follow-up to his first project, Chise released a collaboration project called Chopped Suei, Vol.1, with Detroit-based producer Merch Music; which is currently available on all digital media streaming platforms everywhere. Some of the standouts from this project were "Black Love,” "Haters,” "Greatness,” "Starting 5,” and "Tell You.”

3269 Chise has been a frequent winner and performer across several local platforms and showcases. HE recently released the singles “Smiling Faces,” “Social Media,” “Rainy Dayz” and collaboration efforts with Dot Gang entitled “Soul Food” and a collaboration project/single/video entitled “Coney Island” with another local artist P Dot.

As an upcoming artist from Detroit, MI, he has his sights set on becoming an artist the people can love to grow with over time. No microwave RAP!! His music is food for the soul. His dream is to truly bring Something Special to the culture of Hip-Hop/Rap and beyond, for generations to come! Chise has recently partnered with ASIR Consulting/Varsity Music Group, and recently released his autobiographical project "Club Shirley's (Based On A True Story)" available on his website https://www.dboysound.com and all other digital streaming platforms.
